I think a lot of British ppl say ‘the UK isn’t as bad as the US’ because black history is not taught in schools. The British national curriculum is so white washed and pro British history, it fails to expose the UK’s shortcomings regarding racism

In no way means at all am I overlooking Britain’s mistreatment of the Irish, Welsh and Scottish but at least it’s more commonly taught. British black and brown history is less prevalent so my tweets refer to the struggles of poc specifically, black ppl, given the current climate
