While we're at it, stream the MV because you literally can't stream the song anywhere else but here:
First of all I would like to say that @yinyin_anw and @warwanarat really did an amazing job in portraying their roles. After reading the novel, I got to appreciate how they physically embodied each character-- that Vee and Mark almost feel like YinWar themselves!
Also this is just PURELY my opinion and my point of view of the whole thing. Your view might be different so yeah. Anyway, this is free for any kind interpretation. I'd like to just really talk about mine

When Vee said "I got this inspiration from you." when I watched it, I got confused tbh im like how? When the song started and the lyrics appeared it started making sense. It made even more sense when Yin explained that it's supposed to be in the scene where Vee brought Mark
to see Bar. The project Vee has been doing with Bar the whole time, was a star projector, inspired by Mark Now, let that sink in
It doesn't feel as deep in the series because the time between each scene isn't that long and it felt too short to develop some sort of connection

But in the novel, it made sense. It could've been that when they met, or when THAT BAR THING HAPPENED, Vee wasn't getting along with Ploy already. Or maybe distant. He didn't plan to actually fall for Mark. Both of them never did, but love moves in mysterious ways.
Even Mark thinks it's crazy how that night just changed him forever (and how he basically set his self up for another heartbreak
) and Vee just "ignored" that fact and insists that he did that so Mark stops messing with Bar, his dear friend.

I cannot stress how these lyrics are so significant to how Vee actually feels for Mark

I think this is what Vee felt. Before that night with Mark, he felt lonely but he keeps on lying to himself that he is happy-- that nothing is wrong. It was completely evident in this scene. Y'all Yiwha is the hero here REALLY

Although that scene happened after THAT NIGHT, doesn't change the fact that some things might've happened with Vee and Ploy while people think they the loveliest couple in the campus. After that, Vee started to actually notice Mark. Like really look at him closely.
Correction! The english lyrics above actually lacked a bit. So lemme revise that:

Without him realizing, Mark has made a huge impact on Vee's life. It may have been a hard pill to swallow at first. because he did say "You're the first man I have strong feelings for" (if im not mistaken) but to think that he tried to sort things out was just akdbsijsls
Yin created a softer version of Vee but in the novel, he was so much more of jerk. He was nice in general but he was VERY POSSESIVE-- like REALLY POSSESIVE. And is hot-temepered and couldn't make up his mind. It took him so long to decided on things and made Mark wait.

So this particular line really hits differently, especially as it is the intro of the song. And the fact that these words are repeated all throughout the song, proves that they want to emphasize this:
It's hard to believe that someone, out of a million people, is destined for you and that you didn't even have to find that person because that person was made for you to begin with.
This part is so true especially in Vee's point of view because in the novel, he kept on asking Mark "Why me?" Or "Are you really sure about me?" Everything happened suddenly and both did not expect it at all, they were broken when that night happened...
Vee just wanted to make sure about Mark's feelings but he failed to make sure about his. It took him a VERY long time to fix the thing between him and Ploy and to acknowledge his true feelings for Mark, to put a label to it.

It's like telling that no matter how "meant for each other" some people are, arguments and misunderstanding could still happen. Especially that Vee hurt Mark while in the process of coming in terms with his own feelings, this part of the song hits deep.
In the series, it didn't look like Mark was hurting because we only got to see Vee cry but Mark was just as broken, or possibly even more than Vee. And what hurts the most is that Mark who didn't like to go home, decided to stay with his parents for their term break to heal.
This! Is another VERY IMPORTANT thing that left out from the novel-- their families. Both Vee and Mark's families played a HUGE role in their relationship. OH MY GOD GUYS NOW I THINK ABT IT THEY ARE THE BEST PART OF THE STORY I PROMISE

Just like Yiwha, their families were able to understand the situation and helped them sort everything out. I tell you I cried when... omg that part with their families.... OKAY NO MORE SPOILERS HAHAHA But really from the very beginning Vee's brother was there.
And from the very beginning, LIKE FROM THAT NIGHT. Uh-huh. Vee brought Mark to HIS HOUSE, yes the one with his family and all, and how can yall sleep when the thin walls of your home just made you HEAR THINGS in the middle of the night??? I MEAN
