(1) Nah bc I got time today. As AMERICAN PEOPLE, we are taught that black life is worth less. We’re taugh our history doesn’t matter, our struggle doesn’t matter, our lives don’t matter etc. That, mixed with dangerous stereotypes that black people are “thugs” and “criminals”.

(2) these all date back to American Individualist ideals that African people are “savages” and need to be “tamed” and taught how to be “civilized” by white people, especially white men. Since these ideals have reminded historically unchallenged, those ideas sit in the minds

(3) of ALL AMERICANS. WE ALL KNOW THE STEROTYPES. Cops are fed with the idea that they have to protect people from “thugs” and “criminals” and “savages” and what is the first image that comes to mind when you’re given those words? BLACK AND BROWN PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY MEN.

(4) So they’re automatically targeted at unfair proportions because of what this country teaches its people about black life. ALL COPS ARE BAD BECAUSE THEY PROTECT A SYSTEM THAT IS BROKEN.

(5) I say “All Cops Are Bad” with my full chest and I mean it. Until we as a country can unlearn it’s historically ingrained bigotry and hatred of black life. A nationwide policing system will do nothing but perpetuate it. ACAB.
