Can we discuss what happens afterwards?

1. The innocent workers at Target will have to find new jobs- during COVID-19.
Customers will have to find a different store to shop at. That means driving further away from their house, which means more money that is wasted on gas.
2. Those housing units that were under construction? Well, those companies who had nothing to do with anything tangentially related to this issue will now have to consider it a loss or start from scratch. That means more money, which could put that building at a loss for them.
3. The small businesses who have been looted are not backed by corporations like Target or Walmart. That could be the owner’s only way of making money, and now they are making no money. They also could be living paycheck to paycheck, that means they could become homeless.
4. That precinct that was burned down? Well if someone gets killed, robbed, etc., well we can bet that the response times will be substantially longer, and the murderers and robbers can actually get away and never be caught.
So what am I trying to say in this thread?

1.We get caught up in the here and now, but we don’t think about the consequences of our actions.

2. Violence is never the answer to violence.

3. The actions of a few can outweigh the actions of many.
