Protesting IS SUPPOSED TO disrupt the normal functions of things such as highways/streets in order to gain more traction and awareness. It’s meant to make a statement and to capture the attention of those that are privileged enough to be unaware and unaffected. Your issue -

shouldn’t lie in the location or manner that Black people and allies are choosing to protest just bc it inconveniences you. It should be the reasons these protests are NECESSARY to begin with that you’re overwhelmingly occupied with. Come get thrown up on if you disagree.

If you’re not black it’s the BARE MINIMUM you can endure to be full of compassion and sorrow and to be willing to pause your daily functions in recognition and in opposition of Black lives being taken the way they’re being taken.
