Thread on the #Minneapolisprotests: There are many important questions circulating, here’s answers to a few of them:
1. Why did they #riot, to begin with?
2. Wasn't #GeorgeFloyd committing a crime, anyway?
3. Why was @Target subjected to the rioting?
4. But we're not at war, so even if that emotionally feels right, why attack @Target?
5. But the #Minneapolisprotests was inherently #violent, so the #police were just responding to violence with more of it.
