retweeting and being vocal on social network is great and important, but make sure you& #39;re not just being vocal in an echo chamber of like-minded people. make sure your activism isn& #39;t just performative signal-boosting.
if you don& #39;t have the means to donate or leave your home to do community-driven work (whether it& #39;s bc you& #39;re physically unable to, live in a rural area, have unreliable transportation, etc) email and call your state representatives. sign petitions. support protestors.
post things in the spaces where you will end up having to have difficult conversations with relatives or coworkers or people you haven& #39;t spoken to since high school. respond to the racist shit your uncle posts on fb.
put the onus of educating yourself on the history of racial injustice and racism, how to a be an ally, etc on YOURSELF if you& #39;re white or nbpoc. be an active listener and don& #39;t speak over. take care of your black friends, make sure you show up in the ways that they need.
