being from georgia, i have a lot of friends with conservative friends and family members even though my immediate circle is extremely liberal. all too often i hear that challenging these conservative beliefs is too much, especially for the conflict-averse.

i get it. i really do. but you have to know that your desire to avoid conflict has an actual human toll. it's costing people their lives.
