1. We received a very polite dm from @jianhongist, she said thank you IF you tweet about it.
idk where that IF went to now.

2. We literally don't know what's going on, @zhengyuweis replied us a card and i literally liked that tweet and clicked in to read about it.
3. As you can see I tweet at odd hours of the day, I'm busy with work and I have no time to look at the news, which is why you guys have decided to ask people to trend the tag, becuz some people might not see it, right?
4. Cyberbullying: we weren't pressurised to do so, not because of @jianhongist, becuz we received a cc asking our opinion on the matter becuz people are going around pressurising people to tweet about it. If you don't tweet, you racist.
5. Takes a few seconds to RT it's so hard for you: that's why we said we're "Reading about it". Living in SG, we're really far away from issues like slavery, issues that don't really relate to us in SEA.
We wanted to share more to bring awareness to the situation like how we always try to provide a thread or give people more information on this account.
6. We're trying to learn. I said we have a lot to learn, thank you for those on being kind and sending us links on what's happening. Isn't that part of the movement? Educating people that a serious issue is happening right now?
Not bullying and be like "nyah yall what more you need to read about ignorant" We are trying to educate ourselves to not be ignorant. that's what it is. and are you guys denying it? yes.
7. Not tweeting about it = they don't stand with the notion. there are a lot of ways that people are supporting it, people sign petitions for that, some do it silently when they see it and not wave it around and announce "i signed a petition!!" because there is no need to if you
don't want to, not on stan twt becuz they believe that stan twt is a place to be happy and tweet about their favs, they can go support it somewhere else and you wouldn't know!

8. why do you think we've said that we're reading on it instead of just ignoring @jianhongist?
you never know how far someone is, away from these issues. resources where everywhere, just was not on my TL, isn't that the reason you asked for people to share?
8. why is cyberbullying ok?
definition of cyberbullying: the use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature.
how have you guys been cyberbullying?
if you don't tweet about it = you are racist. assumptions. is she a good person? nope.

9. why are you making such a big deal over asking you to RT stuff
she asked me to retweet or tweet about it.
i can't just tweet about things i don't know, can I ? will i be passing false news, misinformations? i have to search up what i have to RT about and elaborate on it so my followers understand? and that is the reach i am aiming for?
10. you, are trying to
fight hate, with hate
by calling us names,
when it's not hard to be kind and help us learn.
11. as i emphasise again i was not pressurised into tweeting
don't do this for clout,
do this for what it's supposed to be,
if you guys really wanted to be a great advocate, why don't you go around linking things in replies instead of name callings and "calling out" people,
thinking that you've did a good job in "cancelling" people.
