Is it understandable for a parent to not be able to cope with their frustration/impatience with their child needing specific care? Sure. Most parents don't have the tools to cope with their own problems, much less teach their kids to deal with their emotions.
Is it understandable for a parent to murder their child bc the parent can't cope with their own emotions? No. Not EVER. Children are extremely vulnerable and in this culture adults dehumanize/objectify children. Ppl treat children like props, adornments, pets, etc.
Anyone who tells you they sympathize with parents who murder their kids bc the kids were "too much" are telling you exactly how they feel about children. They're telling you that children are disposable, that the convenience of adults matters more than the life of a child.
This thread is not about fetuses. I'm talking exclusively about children who've been born. People who can give birth are the only ones who get to determine whether to keep or terminate a pregnancy.
