GJ 1214 b is a huge âwaterworldâ 3 times the size of Earth. The water contributes to 10% of its mass compared to Earthâs 0.05%. It is thought that its oceans may reach depths of 1,000 mi. Whilst the deepest the Earthâs oceans have gone is 7 mi.

This planet is made of pure diamond. Itâs a carbon-based planet 5 times the size of earth. Due to the immense pressure caused by the planetâs gravitational pull, the carbon has been condensed, forming a gigantic diamond.
