One thing I really enjoy in this movie is how the boys, later men, in the friend circle leave space for each other& #39;s romances. Means when one of them falls for someone, the way their looks show they understand. The teasing, the encouragements, the witnessing of a friend& #39;s +

blossoming romance, the way they take places at that window in their common lodgings (for signal reasons, I assume) to kadalai potufy. The way they detach without fuss from a common activity with friends to go talk to their lovers. So endearing.
