One thing I really enjoy in this movie is how the boys, later men, in the friend circle leave space for each other's romances. Means when one of them falls for someone, the way their looks show they understand. The teasing, the encouragements, the witnessing of a friend's +

blossoming romance, the way they take places at that window in their common lodgings (for signal reasons, I assume) to kadalai potufy. The way they detach without fuss from a common activity with friends to go talk to their lovers. So endearing.
