There are some amazing local business that have been hurt in this. I’m going to thread here some of the efforts I find to support them:

First up, Hamburguesas El Gordo:

This place has the best burgers, and their asada fries are a balm on a stressful workday.

They’re trying to cover employee wages after their safe was stolen.

There’s an overall effort for the small businesses on Lake Street which starts out very hipster, moves through a thriving Latinx community and reaches into the predominantly Somali neighborhoods. https://www.welovelakestreet.com/
