I am going to attempt to name an underrated player from each Premier League club.

DISCLAIMER: I am NOT saying the player I choose is the most underrated player in that club, it’s just ONE player who I think is.

A thread:
@Arsenal - @LTorreira34

Torreira is the type of player who does all the work that goes unnoticed, scrappy, combative and a relentless engine. He may not contribute with G/A regularly, but that’s not his job.

I think he’s a major part of how Arsenal play and he’s only 24!
@AVFCOfficial - @jmcginn7

Moving to Villa from Hibernian for the 2018/19 season in the Championship. McGinn contributed with 22 G/A combined.

Contributed five G/A this year but has missed a large chunk with injury. Doesn’t get the credit due to Jack Grealish for me.
@afcbournemouth - @NathanAke

Don’t think he gets the credit due to how bad Bournemouth have been this season. He can play a variety of positions and has been a major figure in their team since 2016 now.

Still only 25 and has played 109 times for ‘The Cherries.’
@OfficialBHAFC - Lewis Dunk

Dunk has been at Brighton since the start of his career and has racked up 271 appearances so far. He has had offers from elsewhere, but has stayed loyal to the Albion.

Playing a major part in their rise to the Premier League and beyond.
@BurnleyOfficial - Ashley Westwood

The central-midfielder joined the club back in 2017 and has become a more important figure in Sean Dyche’s squad.

An unflashy, yet effective player. At £5m it was definitely a bargain-buy, even for Burnley’s standards.
@ChelseaFC - @tammyabraham

Lethal in the Championship for Bristol City and Aston Villa, Abraham is having his first season in the PL with Chelsea and has scored 13 goals and three assists already.

Definitely one for the future too at only 22 years of age, quality imo
@CPFC - @jordan_ayew9

Ayew has eight goals to his name this season which his joint-best PL goal tally ever.

He’s played 28 games out of 29 for Palace who sit in 11th place only five points away from the European places when they were predicted to struggle.
@Everton - @CalvertLewin14

DCL has 13 goals to his name this season, which is by far his best.

Previously criticised by the Everton fans for not being clinical enough he’s trying his hardest to show he’s the man to lead the Everton attack.

Seems to get better each game.
@LCFC - @Ndidi25

Filling N’Golo Kante’s shoes was never going to be easy for anyone with what he achieved at Leicester.

I think Ndidi comes close to achieving it, ‘The Foxes’ currently sit 3rd and Ndidi has been a big feature in getting there.
@LFC - @J_Gomez97

Some people won’t agree with this BUT some rival fans say that he is only good because he plays next to van Dijk.

We’ve not lost a game with Joe at CB since 18/19, which is madness. He’s got the potential to become fully world-class.
@ManCity - @gabrieljesus9

It’s going to be hard to compete with Sergio Agüero but I think Jesus is a quality and ready-made replacement once Sergio goes

37 goals isn’t bad for a player who came from the Brazilian league with no PL experience and he’s still only 23.
@ManUtd - Scott McTominay

Scott has made the breakthrough into the United first-team this season since his debut in 2017. The Scotland international has been a mainstay in Solskjær’s side.

He formed a good partnership with Bruno Fernandes in the few games they played
@NUFC - @JetroWillems_15

Despite being on loan, I think Willems has come into Newcastle and done a pretty good job.

Despite their fans high expectations, 13th place in the table is good for them and Willems is part of their strong back-line.
@NorwichCityFC - @maxaarons2

Max has already had interest from the ‘Top 6’ clubs and is one of the best young right-backs in the PL.

He won’t get the credit he deserves because Norwich will be relegated but I hope he earns a move and excels somewhere else.
@SheffieldUnited - Chris Basham

To be fair there’s many players you could do for Sheffield United but Chris Basham has to be included.

He’s a player that fans said wasn’t good enough for the PL. ‘The Blades’ are enjoying a wonderful season with Basham playing a big part.
@SouthamptonFC - @IngsDanny

Fighting through years of injury, Ings has seemingly come out of the other side and is enjoying a fantastic season for Southampton.

15 goals puts him fifth in the top scorers, mixing with the likes of clinical strikers like Vardy and Agüero.
@SpursOfficial - @JTanganga99

We haven’t seen much of Tanganga yet, but in the six appearances he’s had for Spurs he’s shown that he is more than capable of coping with the demands of the PL.

It’s early days of course, but at only 21 he looks to have a very bright future
@WatfordFC - @gerardeulofeu

Despite being injured for the rest of the season, I think he was a decent player for Everton.

Once he comes back from injury, I think we will see the best of Deulofeu in a Watford shirt.
@WestHam - @Noble16Mark

Maybe a weird one as he is considered a West Ham legend, but I do think if he was at another club he’d be seen in a different light.

What he’s done at West Ham is class but unfortunately for years now they’ve been average which reflects on Noble too.
@Wolves - @DiogoJota18

I think with how Adama Traore is, Jota is sometimes seen as a lesser of the two.

To be fair to him, he’s contributed 21 G/A this season with the PL still to conclude, quality player.
