Fellow non-Black people in the #TTRPG community:

Saying you want game spaces to "be free of politics and controversy" is an INCREDIBLY privileged take.

You are saying your comfort is more important than Black lives. Understand that. #BlackLivesMatter

A lot of white people have missed the point of what I said. So listen up.

I didn't say you MUST include politics in your game; it's already there. All media, #TTRPG games included, is inherently political. If you don't see it, it means those politics align with your own.

Also, as I have people in my mentions saying "but I use #TTRPG games to escape from reality", no shit. So do I. So do lots of people. That's fine. Everyone needs a break.

But don't pretend like your escapist media is apolitical, because it's not. No media is apolitical.
