Hello to my new followers!!! My name is Ashley. I'm a astrochemist, planetary scientist, and science communicator. Let me tell you a little bit about me. I received my BS in Chemistry at @ChicagoState University. I began my interest in astronomy through inquiry.

I was amazed at how I could do astronomy as a chemist. This led me to two internships at Harvard and Johns Hopkins. I'm extremely active with sci comm through @AdlerPlanet!! My mentor, sister, and co-advisor is @shaka_lulu! (If you want to know how to be a REAL ally...see them!)

My one of besties is @astrochicana! She recently received a dual BS in Astronomy and Physics from @UTAustin with distinctions in DEI and Research. We throw haymakers in social justice together and one day will open our planetarium with our dear friend @keshawnrants!!!

Another one of my besties is @onlyayanna_! She's an amazing fellow astrochemist and promoter of WOC in STEM. She works with @AlxndriaTH3Gr8 and @Astrenome for the WOC project! A program for WOC by WOC who want to attend graduate school.

This summer, I'll be interning for NASA Goddard and continuing my Black History series. I'm expanding it to ALL Black STEM students and postdocs!
