I am sick of this gender war. Sick of putting time & energy into defending the idea that women are a sex, not a set of stereotypes or a feeling in a man's head, that female ppl have the right to assemble and talk about our specific needs and vulnerabilities using our own words.

I am sick of having to describe how my teenage years and 20s were plagued by men's sexual entitlement and predatory behaviour in order to justify that I have the right to say No to male intrusion in the places where I undress, wash, would go to protect myself from male violence.

I am sick of reading unsubstanciated nonsense about wrong body, female brain, sex spectrum & knowing science invalidates all this claims, while the very meaning of woman and women's rights are being destroyed with no scrutiny at the demand of illiterate teenagers &aggressive men.

I am sick of being scared to talk about it under my own name, of seeing intelligent and compassionate women with exemplary records being dragged in the mud for defending women's boundaries and children's health by males with disgusting fetish & a fascination with violence & porn.

I am sick of seeing historical revisionism going unchallenged, science gutted of its explanatory power, while knowing these are the precursors of chaos and tyranny, without being allowed to discuss it freely because it is seen as "not worthy of respect" in our society.

I am sick of the misogyny on the left and (real) bigotry on the right, of the growing rift between myself and my "progressive" friends who haven't looked at the issue in depth and think it's only about being nice: it isn't nice to erase women &the means to fight against sexism.

I am sick to the core of being afraid to say publicly: "women matter, women exist as a category separately from males, women are humans, not social roles, not fantasies, women have the right to resist appropriation and colonisation like every other demographic."
