Given everyone’s focusing on the police’s racism to black people right now, your reminder that black people have been disproportionately fined under COVID-19 legislation in the UK - and nobody seems to care.

I did a poll, and even my followers - when questioned about what deserved more news coverage - picked Cummings over BAME people being disproportionately targeted by police.

I asked this because the excessive Cummings coverage buried this story - but people think that was right.

If you want to talk about unfairness during COVID-19, or double standards - start there.

Just like everything else, whether it’s in the US or the UK if you’re black it’s a crime.
