The #3rdPrecinct was burning steadily at ~11 p.m. last night. The grounds were covered with graffiti, while the building was occupied inside all the way to the rooftop.

Spray-painted on a barrier is the phrase "Burn The MPD"

Hundreds took to the streets in South #Minneapolis last night to show their disapproval for the recent killing of an unarmed Black man.

Many gathered in front of a burning #3rdPrecinct building — the former place of employment of the MPD officers who killed #GeorgeFloyd.
Slides 11–12: Minnehaha Lake Wine & Spirits, which was broken into on the first night of #GeorgeFloydProtests.

After the corner building was set on fire tonight, people warned others on the ground to watch out for the smoldering electrical pole and then the burning power wires.
Slides 13–16: the #3rdPrecinct station as of ~11:30 p.m. last night, as seen from Minnehaha avenue and the alleyway South of the building.

Ladders were used to access upper levels of the building on Lake Street.
