Can we please for the love of god stop wringing our hands now over whether Trump is a fascist authoritarian and do something about it? Can’t you people see it yet?

Trump has revealed who he is every step of the way. A cruel and insecure white supremacist who is only president to profit and protect the profit of other white men. He’s inspired his followers to kill, has inflamed cultural tensions for his own benefit, and it will get worse.

There is a sizable population that not only listen to Trump but are raring to go, including fascistic white terrorists who have already interrupted legislatures with semi-automatic weapons and are determined to start a new civil war. None of this is okay, normal, or safe.

This didn’t just happen. It’s been building for a long time, but Trump dealing with a generational pandemic and a broken economy and a possible electoral defeat directing supporters in law enforcement and militias is a powder keg. Do not look away from this. It is real.

White supremacy has always been fascistic. When they see power slipping white supremacists begin eradicating democratic institutions to protect that power. This has been violent and it will increase in terms of violence. You have to understand this because it’s growing.
