The equivalent of a city the size of Salisbury slaughtered in the name of a Merrie England fantasy. Old people in homes cut off from loved ones for months as sickness and death raged around them. 2/9
Hundreds of doctors, nurses, porters, cleaners, and care home staff dead who'd be alive if Britain had managed to even stagger up the admittedly epic level of incompetence shown by the French. 3/9
Huge and needless damage inflicted to the economy because if we'd have handled this competently, like the Australians, Germans, and Koreans, we'd be substantially back to normality already. 4/9
Is it media bias or "political shitkickery" to bring all this up? What sort of country do we want to live in? Is it one where the state broadcaster is a cheerleader for the government, with editors pressured to silence critical journalists, like Russia or China? 5/9
Boris is an incompetent who dithered for ten deadly days in March when the facts were in front of his face but he couldn't deal with their implications. 6/9
Thank God he's too thick to have understood the detail of what @RishiSunak and his Treasury mandarins were cooking up to try to save the economy, or he'd have buggered that up as well. 7/9
@BorisJohnson is no Churchill, and he isn't even a Chamberlain; as we’ve seen this week, he's a Nicholas II, a complete empty shell controlled by his rule-breaking Rapsutin. 8/9
