It is #365daysAfterOtoge today, Governor @RealAARahman upon his assumption in office directed and supported the Water ministry under @AF_lawal to pump water and supply it so as to know what is needed to make sure they become more effective and work at an optimal level.

Kwara has so far fixed five major water works across the state including Asa Dam(Central); Patigi (North) Gwanara (North); Lafiagi (North); and Igbaja (South).

The directive of the Governor is that these Water works should be ready immediately.

In the quest of @AF_lawal to actualize the effort of the Governor in water sector, she announced with great pleasure and excitement the completion of another borehole project in five wards at Kaiama Local Government Area of the state.

These wards include, Gwanagizi Area Kaiama Ward 11, Mallam Ayuba Mosque Area Kaiama Ward 11, Nuku Community, Tenebo Community Kemanji and Bezira Community Wajibe.

The essence of these boreholes is to make portable water adequately avaliable to the citizens of the state.

Today, I can confirm the rehabilitation works in the community has been completed with the following areas - Werri Community, Late Emir& #39;s Compound, Isale Koto, Yashikira Central Mosque and Sabo Community, now having access to adequate water supply.

On 23rd of May, @AF_lawal and the Director of Hydrology, Mallam Suleiman and some staff of the Ministry for Water Resources went on inspection to Alanamu area, where the rehabilitation of Borehole and Tap water was carried out by the Kwara State Government.

On 21st of May, @AF_lawal visited Alateko Village in Moro LGA of Kwara state alongside Director Hydrological, Mallam Suleiman Alade and other staff from the Ministry to find out the problem facing the Community in terms of water Supply.
After thorough inspection through the village the was taken to the River which is the only source of water in the community, @AF_lawal on spot expressed her sympathy to the people for the lack of adequate water supply in the community.
