Most of the times when we are going on an excursion, tour or filed trip. We seldom take serious the important things to take along or what matters when we are filled with the imagination of where we are going.

1. ID cards

One of most important thing to pack when traveling is your IDs. You don't want be harassed or arrested by police for forgetting what should be in your wallet. The most important of the IDs is your passport-Make sure it is valid to
if you are going beyond the country
2. Phone/laptop Chargers

I know you won't forget your phones but how will you cope without your chargers? Don't forget to pack your adapters And probably an extention in case you're given an outlet to plug when you have several things to charge.
3. Underwear

Pack enough underwear for your trip (two or three extras). You can always wash your underwear during your travels if you do run out.
Tip: Pack a small thin bag for your dirty laundry, it will separate your clean and dirty things so you don't get them mixed.
4. Take Enough Clothes

I know you'll take clothes along for sure but Remember to take a mix of light and warm layers (depending where you're going). Also take into consideration what kind of activities you'll be doing during your travels so that you're prepared with right gears
5. Walking Shoes

We sometimes make mistakes of wearing flip flop (palms) when going on tours. If you'll be doing a lot of walking then make sure to pack some good quality walking shoes. It’s usually best to wear your bulkiest shoes so that you can save space in your luggage.
6. Water Bottle

You may be wondering what why but You'll surely need one to stay hydrated on the road. Not only are reusable water bottles better for the environment but they're also a great way to save money so that you don't have to keep buying more.
7. Essential Body Products

Always carry your essential hair, face, body, teeth products for healthy, happy locks during your travels. Your hair cream, brush/comb, tooth brush, deodorant/perfume and toothpaste are very important.
8. Painkillers and Medicine

It's always good to have some medication on the road. Painkillers or allergy tablets will come in handy for headaches, muscle aches, period pains, stomach aches - so keep some on you just incase.
9. Cameras

Nowadays though, your smartphone camera is good quality enough to capture great shots so if you're trying to carry less but the camera will give you a lot to appreciate and remember as you may want to save battery on your phones.
10. Towels & Cover cloths

Most of your trip may not come with the luxury of booking hotels which have all this at hand. Buy a thin microfibre towel that's easy to pack. Most hostels don't provide towels or cover cloths so remember to bring yours.
11. First aid kits

Every tourist should carry a first aid kit, you never know when you'll need it. Especially if you'll be doing a trekking-based trip.
12. Eye mask and ear plugs.

If you're a light sleeper then we recommend packing an eye mask cos anyone can turn on the light on you when sleeping. Also get a pair of earplug for the nights you'd like a decent sleep without noise disturbance.
13. Ear Piece or Ear Pods

The journey may at some point get boring and you'll feel tired. With your air piece or pods, you can listen to music or watch movies while enjoying the cruise.
14. Reading Materials/Phrasebook

Instead of ear piece to listen to music, you can opt to read cos you may be spending a lot of time on plane, bus or train during your travels. So buy some good books to keep yourself occupied.
15. Cap & Sun Glasses

Keep your head and face protected from the sun. Get yourself both, its an essential for any trip. hopefully you'll get at least a glimpse of sun during your trip! Get a pair of good quality sunglasses that will protect you day-to-day & a cap too.
16. Emergency Whistle & Torch

You never know when a whistle will come in handy. When travelling, stressful situations can arise out of nowhere. Also a torch is essential for a camping trip, or just to avoid turning all the lights on in your dorm room and waking everyone up.
17. Flip flop (slippers)

AvComfortable footwear goes a long way when walking around your hotel/hostel and when you want to take your bath.
18. Snacks

Pack a few small snacks that will fit in your backpack and give you a little taste of home. Take a couple of packets of your favourite biscuits or chocolate bar. you'll really thank yourself when you're craving a bit of what you're used to.
19. Condoms

This is absolutely not necessary except you're going with your fiance or girlfriend or you've already plan on having some extra fun!

It's best you play safe while having your fantasies and fun. You don't want to end up having some diseases from the tour's ecstasy.
20. Money- Cash/Debit Card

The last but not the least is CASH!
If you pack everything and end up not taking some cash along or with your debit card. You may end up blaming yourself throughout the trip. Getting cash is important as you may not see anywhere to use your debit card.
