Why I believe Boris Johnson’s encouraging schools to open England is racist

A thread
3. Parents that do work are likely to work in lower-paid jobs such as areas such as hotels, health sector or restaurants (30.7%) Some of these sectors have been furloughed and some people have lost their jobs therefore moving to universal credit
4. During this lockdown it can difficult for ethnic minorities to access the funds to access resources to help their children continue their education from home and some may even speak little to no English so will perhaps struggle to help their children learn
5. Schools in deprived areas have had less funding in England over the past decade with spending per pupil going falling by around 8%
We can see that this will mean school face the task of having to get classroom ready when there isn’t the funding in place
6. Figures all show 6. Minority ethnic pupils made up 66.3% of the increase in pupil numbers in primary schools between 2016 and 2017 in state schools
7. Black African (44%), Mixed White and Black African (41%) and Black Caribbean (40%) households were most likely to rent social housing out of all ethnic groups between 2016 -18
8. Gonna wrap this thread up before I go off into a huge rant but we can see that ethnic groups are at an increased risk of getting covid so parents might not bother to send their children back due to the fear of the child catching covid and passing it on....
And in poorer areas where there are higher populations of ethic minorities and this means that they are more than likely to have increased health inequalities so covid is the last thing they want
Lastly I’m not saying white kids don’t face some of these problems it’s just disproportionately high for ethic minorities
