short thread entitled, "my mom would rather migrate to the u.s. thinking that she& #39;ll have a better life and (sort of) forcing me to do that for her"
**YES IT SOUNDS A BIT TWISTED but I swear it& #39;s not THAT bad,,, I might& #39;ve just overestimated the situation but anyway here we go

out of all the countries she would think of, America
stays at #1 in her list. She talks to me how her previous colleagues were able to migrate there and tells about how *good* their lives are.
ninth grade me was all okay about it, but since i& #39;m a major weeb (lol until now) , i would rather migrate to japan instead HAHAHAHAH

Of course, those *requests* are fine, I& #39;m pretty sure they aren& #39;t as easy as they seem but they could be attainable. Haven& #39;t really thought much of my future career path yet so I can& #39;t really say much.

same healthcare system her sister (my aunt) has access to. she thinks that the overall system is good, maybe even superior than in our country (ngl it is true).
but i don& #39;t think she has seen the bad sides of it yet.

we had a talk about this yesterday (now with my sister) and
they kept on comparing the situations in our country and the u.s. (with regards to the COVID-19 issues)
but now that i see more issues that aren& #39;t limited to healthcare and are actually related to my courses (humanities and social sciences), i get worried that if i do follow

what they (or rather, she, only mom HAHAHAH) want, i can& #39;t secure their safety because we all know that u.s. is a racist country oh please.
white supremacy is very evident, so i don& #39;t even know if they would survive a month there lol (knowing their personalities, it& #39;s gonna be

I know this isn& #39;t the time to be tweeting about this since there are other issues to be prioritized, but I just want to help educate our fellow (older) countrymen to debunk¿ that myth where living in another first-world country (moreover the u.s.) is significantly better

than staying in your own. i know that people feel the toxicity (literally and figuratively) but it shouldn& #39;t be an excuse for us to abandon our own country.
this thread isn& #39;t something against any first-world country but i hope my fellow citizens would have enough time to think

whether migrating is good or bad. it& #39;s not bad, but it& #39;s not always good.
i just hope my mom would one day learn how to balance her views on economical and humanitarian issues.
again, i& #39;m not hating on anyone, or any nation. i just wish that our countrymen would be educated

again, i& #39;m not hating on anyone, or any nation. i just wish that our countrymen would be educated
enough on other issues that are often viewed as minor problems (even though it does affect a majority)
Also, Americans make me feel scared more than ever because of everything that& #39;s going on,,,, ;-;
