ever since i needed to think about my career options (around ninth grade, i guess) my mom always had that thought of me having a job outside our country since i have "more opportunities" and life is *better* there

I know this isn& #39;t the time to be tweeting about this since there are other issues to be prioritized, but I just want to help educate our fellow (older) countrymen to debunk¿ that myth where living in another first-world country (moreover the u.s.) is significantly better

than staying in your own. i know that people feel the toxicity (literally and figuratively) but it shouldn& #39;t be an excuse for us to abandon our own country.

enough on other issues that are often viewed as minor problems (even though it does affect a majority)
