The letter says "it is for the Govt to decide what proposal for voting it wishes to put forward". Surely the Executive cannot decide how the institution that contains the 650 representatives we vote & pay for is to hold it to account, or not in this case?

In Nov 1940 due to repeated bombing of Westminster, both Houses of Parl left their respective Chambers and moved to the Church House in nearby Dean& #39;s Yard. In June 2020, with due to #coronavirus can they not move to The QEII conference centre?

The QEII centre isn& #39;t likely to be hosting events or conferences anytime soon, have an experience in-house IT team & the main hall can surely accommodate all MPs observing social distancing of 1 meter (other countries & WHO guidance) as almost every Parl is doing eg Nigeria

Or MPs could vote from their Parl offices where they conduct meetings, work with their teams/advisers etc. Their primary responsibility is to act in the national interest & in the interests of their constituents - in the midst of the #COVID19 pandemic they must be present!
