The challenge to teach coding during this mco(or lockdown) is students do not have any access to computer/laptop. Traveling interstate is not permitted and I’m struggling to find any good Python 3 apps that can run numpy, matplotlib and pandas using smartphone. Any suggestions?
I’ve done some googling:
Phyton IDE
Pythoninsta 3
These are the best one but it’s not free.
Should I do crowdfunding to sponsor our students 🤔
I really hope students could get access to their laptop before final exam. They need to do exercises too. Feeling a bit sad for those unable to take their belongings (including laptop) since interstate travel is not permitted. No one should left behind right?
Google colab running from my iphone Safari browser. Take few minutes to load the graph. Might be one of the option for students don’t have computer/laptop access. #matplotlib
But to load data is not easy from phone 😪
Tried to mount google drive and then disconnected 🤯
I have tested Carnets apps that can run Jupyter Notebook from your smartphone. Here is the result. You need to save your file before run the notebook to avoid error in finding modules.
Next using @replit. The only problem it doesn’t recognise mpl.xlabel and keep giving syntax error when using smartphone but works fine using computer
