Carats used to be a peaceful fandom. That's how we got that reputation, because it used to be true. When I entered this fandom back in 2016, everybody was so nice. You can easily get friends and there's barely any issue at all.

Carats back then never used to be problematic. Some of the old carats would say "they would only fight if it's needed" and because Seventeen is not a problematic group, carats weren't problematic either.

When some carats are uncomfortable about something, the rest of the carats would respect that. That's how this fandom works back then, with respect. And with that, it felt like it was a big family.

Now all I see in my tl are fights and issues. Please, if somebody isn't comfortable or offended about something you have said or done, please respect them because what may not affect you may have a big impact to them.

I'm sorry for ranting about this. I just feel so terrible seeing all of these. I know that this fandom is better than this. I trust you all even at the end.

Now that I got that off my chest, please continue using your voice on spreading awareness. I won't use the hashtag in this thread because it's a different topic but please your platform wisely. Even spreading awareness can make a difference
