Protests that contain mainly white people are seen as a right and peaceful no matter how violent they get. And police force is rarely used. But when it’s people of color it’s treated as a violent threat with shooting people with rubber bullets and using tear gas

Target will be fine. It’s an insurance claim to them. George Floyd won’t get his life back. This is more than just “heartbreaking”. This is genocide. This is our citizens leaving in complete fear of the people sworn in to protect the public. This is murder.

And if the people who have a large voice in America like celebrities and influencers aren’t speaking up about this and using their privelage for change stop supporting them. There is justification for them to stay silent. They have the money and platforms to use and they should.

They should use the voice that others are not able to use to aid in this movement. No one should be worried about what speaking up for #BlackLivesMater would do to their brand or reputation.
