Guys... I can understand spreading awareness, and good on everyone doing that. But don’t use that as an excuse to spread hate at other people. Staying quiet is NOT the same as being racist. I’ll admit that it’s not the ideal, but if someone isn’t saying anything, ++
that doesn’t give you the right to throw hate at them. People may have their own reasons for not speaking up. And I mean actual reasons, not just “not wanting to ruin the aesthetic.” I’m saying this because, I haven’t said anything. And I have reasons, ++
real reasons that are personal, which you wouldn’t know unless you knew me personally. Does that mean I’m racist? No, it doesn’t, I’m absolutely not. Are you going to unfollow me because I’m staying quiet? Are you going to call me racist, say I’m enabling the oppressors? ++
That’s what I’ve seen people saying about others (not just the main one which I’m sure Stays know about). I’m not saying there’s no issue here, there most certainly is one. But you shouldn’t be attacking people for not speaking up. You don’t know them, you don’t know their ++
reasons. (I’m not talking about the actual racist people, they’re assholes).

This whole damn issue is one built on hate, and some of you guys are using it to spread more hate instead of awareness. Attacking people isn’t going to get us anywhere.

Say what you want about me, I know what I am and what I am not. All I’ve ever tried to do here is spread some happiness.

Twitter was supposed to be my safe place. Thanks for ruining it.
