Does anyone remember #TheObsoleteMan? In this episode of #TheTwilightZone, we see a foreshadowing of the times we are in now and a mirror for the lives and feelings of #SmallBusinessOwners deemed #NonEssential.

As the governors of #NewYork, #Illinois, #California, #Minnesota and numerous other states call the businesses we enjoy, worked for, or own(ed) continue to be imperiled by #lockdown, it becomes more important than ever to #question our policymakers as they grow in #power.

"Isolate the person to be liquidated! That's what you said!"

As we are placed in self-isolation to varying degrees by state orders, because we have no essential activity to attend, are assumed to be #exposed, or the places we enjoy are closed, this takes on greater relevance.

The episode ends with the revelation that a state official is exposed as "obsolete" and doesn't handle it well.

We must expose @GovInslee, @OregonGovBrown, @GovPritzker, @GavinNewsom, @NYGovCuomo, @Tim_Walz and other leaders as not only wicked criminals, but as obsolete.

No more appropriate term can be applied to businesses including #gyms, #dance and #gymnastics studios and coaches, #hairdressers, #restauranteurs, staff and owners of pubs and nightclubs, as "liquidate" as this is how the state has dealt with our #assets.

Until it becomes appropriate to #liquidate these officials at #election, let us politically liquidate them every day at demonstrations, in courts, in social media, letters to their offices.
