The problem is the term "online classes". What we should be campaigning for is "distance learning".

The term "online class" sounds so anti-poor that people are reacting to the extreme, to the point that they don't want any form of education at all during the pandemic.
We don't need to say NO to online classes. We just need to say YES to providing distance learning options for everyone.
Sorry I'm just really an advocate of using technology to improve education.

Technology in education is the way moving forward anyway. And there's no better time to push authorities to act on it than in this time of need. Ditching the idea is counter-productive.
