THREAD:

In the spirit of constant nostalgia by Arsenal fans and the official Arsenal accounts, let's have some nostalgia before our game vs. Man City.

A team that's meant to compete at the highest level should never concede 4+ goals in a single game. Never.
Sure, you want to avoid conceding & there are many games where we conceded 2-3 goals, but 4+ in 1 game is just humiliating.

So, I'm only going to post the lineups of some of the games where we conceded 4+ goals since some may have forgotten about them.
I'm not even going to bother giving any more analyses.

You should be smart enough to know where the problems lie. Not just in defence, but also in midfield and attack. (With the exception of 1-2 players.) That's it.
Premier League August, 2011: Manchester United vs. Arsenal 8-2
Premier League September 2011: Blackburn Rovers 4–3Arsenal
Champions League February, 2012: AC Milan vs. Arsenal 4-0
Premier League December, 2013: Manchester City 6-3 Arsenal
Premier League February, 2014: Liverpool 5-1 Arsenal
Premier League March, 2014: Chelsea 6-0 Arsenal
Premier League December, 2015: Southampton 4-0 Arsenal
Champions League February, 2017: Bayern Munich 5-1 Arsenal
Champions League March, 2017: Bayern Munich 5-1 Arsenal
Premier League August, 2017: Liverpool 4-0 Arsenal
Premier League December, 2018: Liverpool 5-1 Arsenal
Europa League Final May, 2019: Chelsea 4-1 Arsenal
Arteta's job isn't really that difficult:
1) Analyze our previous history: Which past players (that aren't in our squad anymore) contributed to our decline?

2) Analyze the present: Which current players are presently bringing us down?
The whole point of this is to learn from our past mistakes and not repeat them.

Unfortunately, there are players in our squad right now who have contributed AGAIN to repeating mistakes and letting us down. (Getting knocked out of Europa).
If Arteta repeats the same mistakes, he'll have the same fate as Emery.
