I'm not excited. I'm not celebrating. People are finally protesting. Okay. We're headed into a very dangerous period, people are going to get hurt, and all of this could go very wrong for everyone involved.

The people we're up against have much more experience dealing with situations like this than we do (google COINTELPRO - that was 70 years ago). Everything will be done to maneuver the protests into violence because the state is most comfortable on those terms. And can win there.

Maybe they want the protests to get violent so they can summon 'volunteers' to quell them. Maybe they want violence so the protesters bleed white moderate support (already happening) and are sending in provocateurs to facilitate this. Anything possible now.

You have to get involved to the best of your ability and do what you can to move things in the right direction. You have to meet other people doing the same thing to work with them later. And we can't let this get taken over by people who will run it into the ground.
