Okay here is my track by track review of @ladygaga 6th studio album #Chromatica buckle up ladies and gays!!!
1. “Chromatica I” - instrumental track that sets up the world of #Chromatica   think of the “All of the Lights Interlude” but gayer.
2. “Alice” - Gaga immediately takes us on a trip to Wonderland which conveniently goes thru a dance floor. This is deff 90s house realness and I LOVE it. “My name isn’t Alice, but I’ll keep looking for Wonderland”
3. “Stupid Love” - first single that we are still streaming. Fits perfectly within the album.
4. “Rain on Me” - 2020 version of “No More Tears (Enough is Enough) that will be undoubtedly be my most streamed song of 2020. Rain on me baby!!!!!!!
5. “Free Woman” - this song actually leaked last month but that version sounded more like a 90s house song, this new version sounds more like Tropical House which brings a modern touch to the retro leaning first first half of the album. “This is my dance floor I fought for” 😍
6. “Fun Tonight” - Paramores “Fake Happy” set to a dance beat. Miss Gaga’s vocals during the chorus gave me chills with lyrics that reflect on her position as a celebrity. The girl who was doing it all for the fame might just regret it after all.
7. “Chromatica II” - another instrumental track that sets up the second half of the album. The transition from this track into the next is really a highlight of the whole project so hold onto your wigs!!!
8. “911” - probably the deepest/darkest track on the record. Gaga lets us into her world as she explains how her biggest enemy is herself and needing to medicate in order to function. Pop a 911 girl.
9. “Plastic Doll” - Gaga took Aquas “Barbie Girl” and flipped it on its head for this one. Play this when you’re top makes you mad.
10. “Sour Candy” - after spending 2019 stanning Blackpink I’m so happy that Gaga collabed with them on this track. It shares the same beat as “Swish Swish” but I’m not mad at it. The video will destroy us I am ready for it.
11. “Enigma” - GAGA GOES DISCO
12. “Replay” - on par with “911” with dark themes being the forefront of this dance party. Gaga shows us her inner battle on this track. “Every single day I dig a grave, then I sit inside it wondering if I’ll behave” Gaga girl SAME.
13. “Chromatica III” - final instrumental track with another pleasing intro for the next track. Listen with headphones!!!
14. “Sine From Above” - Gaga’s first collab with Elton John. This song DESERVES a dance floor that techno chorus breakdown is just *chefs kiss* they both did what tf they had to do on this track.
15. “1000 Doves” - She made this song for us I know she did. “Lift me up give me a start, cause I’ve been with some broken arms. Life me up just a small nudge, and I’ll be flying like a 1000 doves”
