it started off when i made a post addressing some things people might find racist. i was asking for clarification if it was ok for me to use these terms since i didn’t know. kailum said that it’s not offensive, despite the fact that he’s white and has no opinion over this.
him and oomf were arguing in my mentions over it, so i muted that part of the conversation. someone sent his tweet to a gc where he said something very inconsiderate about white privilege.
for those of you who don’t know what white privilege is, please read through this thread https://twitter.com/elcincodemaya/status/1265723965864947712
kailum made a tweet a bit later, saying that white privilege doesn’t exist because we are all equal. i hate to break it to you, but we aren’t equal. i want us to be, but black people are oppressed making them unequal to us. this started the #BlackLivesMatter
movement

just to clarify, i want black people to be equal to white people, but as of right now that isn’t the case
after my friends and i called him out on it, he refused to make an apology. his friend copied and pasted this response to nearly everyone who called kailum out for his false statement. we started to copy and paste that everywhere
instead of understanding where he went wrong, and apologizing, kailum decided to “take a break,” come back minutes later, and use this opportunity not to grow and be a better person, but instead as an aesthetic.
if he had just apologized and learned from his mistake, everything would be fine. but he refuses to do research and makes inaccurate statements without any info to backup what he means. so yeah. that’s my exposing thread :)
