Should I continue working on my portfolio, or apply to jobs knowing my work isnt good enough yet? A brilliant job posting landed on my feed but I know my portfolio still needs more work before its ready

I mean, of course you always work on your reel, but should I apply to a job when I only just got critique and advice last week? I dunno if it's a waste of their time or if it is beneficial

This is like a constant worry for me. I never feel ready. That's my biggest goal to push through by the end of the year, to feel confident in the work I have on my reel and to feel like I'm hireable because of it.

So maybe I answered my own question and posting this thread is pointless. Gotta keep working
