...preying on local women. The news report came in two or three parts, each night inciting hatred and violent feelings towards all dark-skinned Africans. The cops launched a campaign, which was called Ops Gagak, targeting male Africans in Malaysia.

And of course, it didn’t take much to rile up groups of young males predominantly of one race to “take action”, leading to this particular incident of a student being killed by said mob.

I was a council member made up of broadcasters and overseen by regulators and was stunned as to how this TV station was neither fined nor had its licence suspended for its obvious incitement of hate. But yes, as @rfloh mentioned, this country’s disdain for Africans is obvious.
