Scene at Colfax and Broadway. More cops showing up. Two helicopters up overhead - can’t tell if news or police. People are now gathering back at the capitol.
Really hard to get tweets out. Steps and windows on south side of capitol are covered in graffiti. A state trooper’s car has its windows smashed. Couple hundred people here, chanting while they face DPD cops standing on 14th.
I saw a protestor get arrested. DPD wouldn’t say for what. I have a video but it won’t upload to Twitter right now

Chants right now: What do want? Justice! When do we want it? Now! Couple hundred protestors standing around a cluster of cops at Sherman and 14th.
Most cops are in their regular uniform, plus masks and face shields. Some are casually holding batons.
Cops are being told to put their gas masks on.
