It’s been a hard news week for us Black folk & we have many emotions coming up that are being invalidated by our yt peers.

Your mental health is important now more than ever, so please consider doing the following:

Do some self-care and do it mindfully: Take a bath, take a nap, do yoga, go for a walk outside, eat a sensible portion of your favorite food mindfully, listen to your favorite music that makes you smile, watch a movie or tv show that makes you laugh or smile, etc.

Remind yourself that it’s not your responsibility to educate non-Black folk about racial inequality and injustice in America. Feel free to send yt or other non-black friends the aforementioned blog post.
