No one can force you to vote by mail and, in fact, there are some valid reasons that people can’t vote by mail. But, even in a state that is almost exclusively vote-by-mail, you don’t need a reason to vote in person.

Now ask yourself why so many states are happy to accommodate those who can only or just want to vote in person, but are making it so damn complicated for voters who are worried about their health and the health of their friends and family.
And, BTW, this pandemic is just one of a litany of reasons that a voter may choose to vote by mail.
