Thread: Alright, this was gonna be a joke, but since jokes are taken seriously now
Power Rangers Porn shows three things:

1. Power Rangers needs more black girls: heroes and villains.

2. We don’t talk about toku girls enough

3. We need better female vs villain dynamics.

Before we begin, I have one thing to say. Squall and another toku twitter/youtuber on an ADULT podcast mentioned and wanted to review a PR parody respective. I looked up an image for like a image and it made realize something.

Wanna know what it is?

3 girls, 2 guys in one team. THAT, is AWESOME!

Problem: They couldn’t get a black guy or an asian girl and color swap like the movie? LAME!

And then that left me with another question? How many black girls heroes/villains do we have in PR and how've they been written/treated?

Once upon a toku, there were people legitimately saying that the only reason people like Shelby was because she’s was black: you know, instead of her actual talents.
To that I say: what the hell is wrong with a character being black?

DRomano or whatever the hell his name was involved in the convo as usual so of course it had to be racism. But them again Hayley was poorly written though Disney Brain and Mage could make a case for her.

But back to Shelby, this ain't the first time fans have been racist.

Shelby built a freaking zord, saved Anklyo, made the E-Board tracer, saved her whole team when they were turned into stone and stuck in their nightmares by Deathryuger & Heckyl, but certain fans can't stand her...

I get the feeling if she was white they wouldn't have whined.

And Shelby working under Ms. Kendall’s who’s white (I had that thought before linkara, personal/family experiences) ends up with certain experiences. Its PR so they couldn’t go too far into it and they ended up on better terms. Wish the rest of the world could do that.

And to make matters worse, people were cheering that Sarah and Calvin was on the team because they were white even though Christi Ane’s Brazilian and Nico’s Colombian.

But I mean, what if we had a female black actress as a villain ala Roxy? But better?

And I know having a black girl as a villain kind leads into “the other” stereotype. Fair, but Octavia Spencer said on Ma when she heard she was in a horror movie, she’d thought she would be the girl who died, but they let her be the freaking killer. And she was so well written.

Plus, let’s be real, PR has a fair number of female black actresses who are really good and got shafted, many heroes. Getting a female tragic anti-villain bada** played by a black actress is so rare. Even Black Lightning barely uses its female black villains. They’re good, but

almost most of them have been either underutilized or got killed off way too early. With PR, most of them could last more than 20 episodes and we won’t see the same generic stereotypes for years.

So what about female rangers and rivalries?

We HAVE NOT HAD a good rivalry with a female ranger in so long. The last time we had one was with Jen.

Zoey vs Roxy is something but not much

Mia, barely a character and Dayu was at least interesting

Lilly vs Camille had some payoff but it was just two fights

Kasumi/Asuna proved themselves against Mangetsu/Tankjoh

Kasumi had to prove herself against Mangetsu.

Tsukasa vs Umika kept making each other doubt if they were doing the right thing fighting each other.

Hell, even Fuuka had her vs Taka touched on in the V-Cinema

Point is, we need more, and it can be done. But its also the bros or Sixth Rangers that get a rivarly. Gimme something interesting for one with the women damnit. And I’m enjoying Ninniger, that’s my opinion, fight me.

And You wanna know what the whole joke was with porn?

Akibaranger’s super sexual and actual PR sexual parodies still have a better female to male ratio than most of toku.

That's what came to my mind.

And yet they still couldn’t get a black guy.

And I haven’t watched either
