Our home shirts the last two season had the Sabo Bridge on them. Our store is on 38th near 55. Our stadium is a short bike ride away. Our coaches, co-founder, and players live or lived in South Minneapolis.

It's intimately tied up in who we are as a club and as a community.

Since 2016 (we're a young club), we have seen the MPD commit grievous injustices against our community. Now, we see the anger come to the surface. Our heart cries out for George Floyd and all before him killed, beaten, or mistreated by the MPD.

Our heart cries out for the businesses burned and impacted. For our neighbors anxious and in fear. For a city going through a terrible--and preventable--situation.

Today was hard as we packed up our store and drove it away to be safe. And yet, we, as people remain in South.

We remain because we live there, work there, and can't quit there. It is our home, and it will remain our home.

Until then, we cry for Minneapolis. We call for justice. We hope for peace.
