Racism does not end through ignorance, stupidity, and most importantly HATE! @Madonna is your ally, but the 3 qualities I mentioned above does not make you see it - especially the last.

"The hate u give" comes back to get you. Now your hate has victimized David Banda, just because his mum Madonna is white, and he is adopted. You are all mocking the video of David using artistic mediums of music and dance to embody the racist sufferings of blacks.

Why? Because Madonna posted it? Same Madonna who adopted him and 3 other kids from Malawi and gave them a life you can only envy? Hell, maybe I even envy David a little. I wish I got half the privileges he enjoys. I have followed up on how she gives him the best for years now.

At 14, David can play instruments, gets professional lessons in kickboxing, dance, and plays for Benfica youth team in Portugal. She actually moved to Portugal so he can become a football star, and she would watch almost all his matches and take videos herself and post them.

In Malawi, Madonna founded @RaisingMalawi to help children through health, education, and community support. Through same organization, Madonna built the Mercy James Institute for Pediatric Surgery and Intensive Care (the first and only, and named after adopted daughter too).

Madonna is not barren, she gave birth to 2 kids, but still, all her adopted kids are from Africa(Malawi). The other 3, Mercy, Esterre, and Stella have also grown up to have more talent than I can dream of, thanks to Madonna. They would fit into countless industries in future.

I wish I was encouraged to be able to make social commentary on social issues through art when I was younger. Madonna is teaching empathy to David through art, but you all are mocking her and the dance video? DISGUSTING! The video won't end racism, but you think your hate would?

Think again. A 200-tweet thread can not list all that Madonna has done for black community. But see the ridiculous comments that black people are throwing at Madonna for posting David dancing to a black artist's music as an embodiment of rebellion against hatred and racism.

Or is it just on twitter that people are toxic? Go on the same post on her Instagram page, and you'd loads of positivity in the comments. Seems like IG people are more intelligent? You all need to wake up. Madonna is not "out of touch", she's ahead of time, and you are behind.

You even accuse her of adopting black kids just to flaunt "white saviourism". Truly I say unto you, your hatred for whites is not anti-racism. It is racism. I condemn this mindset in black people. I can only commend love and acts of love.
