Tw police violence//

With everything going on I wanna say something
I have a family member who is a retired police officer and the stories my family shared of them were ones of them resorting to violence

And honestly it sucks and shows how Cops being shitty is normalized (1/?)

I still love this family member but it DOES NOT excuse any violence or brutality they did on the force

I’m saying this because I think it’s important that a family member being a cop isn’t an excuse to allow cops to be shitty
