Here’s my problem with protest suggestions from those who don’t look like me.

MLK was Peaceful and told others to be peaceful...
They still put a bullet in him.

Ironically, those people who tell blacks to protest like MLK are the same ones calling Kaepernicks protest UnAmerican

Blacks were told to “picked themselves up by their bootstraps” and when they did...

They bombed Black Wall Street in Tulsa Oklahoma killing an estimated 75-300 people, predominantly African Americans.

Blacks were told to police their communities, they did so, created the Black Panthers and J Edgar Hoover & the FBI stepped in immediately and called them “the greatest threat to the internal security of the country."
They assassinated BP leaders like Fred Hampton and Mark Clark.

We say #BlackLivesMatter
They undermine the cause by watering the significance of the term down by say #AllLivesMatters

As if we ever said their lives don’t matter.

I’m not sure if I can make it ANY clearer than this but the reality of it is, there’s people who ultimately want blacks to sit down and shut up. EVERY form of protest whether it’s rioting and burning a city down or quietly and peacefully kneeling has made them angry and bitter

A Protest is SUPPOSED to make those feel uncomfortable. It’s SUPPOSED to create a dialogue and invoke change. They don’t want change because they’re afraid that they’ll lose their position of power if we gained even a fraction of control

That being said

FUCK THEM

Protest however you want, whenever you want. This is about change, not about what makes them comfortable, they’ve been comfortable for over 400 years. They’ll be ok
