From the excuses in the comments it appears that the answer for some of you is no, you're not willing to risk your safety to intervene and while that's not surprising it's pretty fucking disappointing

Honestly I am disgusted with some of the responses here. You could at least think about how to prep yourself or find creative intervention strategies instead of pre-emptively looking for excuses why it's too dangerous to save a life. No one said it would be easy.

Interrupting contact even for a moment might be enough to prevent a death, even if it leads to injury. You know you're not at risk the same way Black people are and it's bullshit to pretend otherwise. Yes, cops kill white people too. No, your odds of being shot are not the same.
