I’m young and I’m stupid. It took me a long time to realize what @Kaepernick7 was really kneeling for. I feel sick to finally see all the pain and anger in the hearts of black America. I feel sick for being oblivious to the systematic racism that’s been in this country

From the start. I feel sick for singing songs as a kid that promoted America’s “freedom”. I feel sick for pledging to the flag. This is not what I stand for. Rest In Peace George floyd, and all the other innocent black people who have died to the hands of a white man.

Fuck anyone who is judging the riots, especially if you’re white, we can never understand how a black persons must feel in America. No one will probably see this thread or care enough to read it, and that’s fine. This is something I needed to say for me.

Now is the time to prove yourself. Not speaking up, not using your voice, complying with white america, is racist in times like these. #BlackLivesMatter
