Hal Marx just threatened to sue the city if they reduce his salary. You cannot recall elected officials in Mississippi. The aldermen are seeking an Attorney General Opinion on if they can reduce his salary.

He is refusing to resign and let it slip that he believes George Zimmerman

He just tried to limit public comments to three minutes.

The other aldermen are doing fantastic.

He was asked if he supposedly loved the people of Petal, then why wouldn’t he resign. He said he wouldn’t give into bullying.

These citizens are making points! I’m very impressed.

He just asked for a police officer to remove a citizen talking because she said “fucking.” The officer did not.

A woman speaking pointed out that Hal rolled his eyes and kept doing it. He responded that he had to blink like that because of dry eyes. She responded “that’s why they make eye drops.”

The meeting ended because Hal wasn’t paying attention and he doesn’t care. Some aldermen are staying to talk to people. There will be a protest at City Hall tomorrow at noon.
