A relative of mine showed up to my house in a tr*mp2020 hat. When I called them on it they brushed it off as a joke. No one laughed. No one thought it was funny. It was in poor taste. Please call those who think the current climate is "funny" because its not. Its terrifying.

They proceeded to say I was the only one to acknowledge it, and all I could think was that everyone else was afraid of approaching them due to the hat. I cannot stress enough that its not a joke and even if you plan on modifying them, you just supported the cause by purchasing

I'm outraged. I cannot put into words how much it hurt to see that hat this morning. My partner is a POC and MANY of my other relatives are part of the LGBTQ+ community and they blatantly, admist the protests, decided to show that damn hat.
